Island Mobility – Terms and Conditions of Hire
Island Mobility will deliver, provide and maintain your rental equipment for the duration of your hire.
Third Party liability insurance is NOT provided in your rental price. The customer is responsible for providing adequate personal insurance cover for risks that may occur during the rental period, if they so wish.
We have a fair wear and tear policy, we expect a few bumps here and there as we know how difficult it can be navigating around the tight hotel and shopping areas. So although we do not ask for a deposit, you are liable for the cost of damage through misuse of our equipment, including but not limited too misuse, driving under the influence of alcohol or over unsuitable terrain and overloading. You are also liable if our equipment is lost or stolen through unsecured storage of the equipment or keys. You are liable up to the maximum value of the replacement part or item.
Island Mobility does not accept liability for any claims for bodily injury or harm, accidents, damage caused to a third person or loss of personal belonging, caused by weather, sickness or any other causes whatsoever.
It is the responsibility of the customer to abide by Spanish Law and Spanish Traffic Regulations.
In the case of breakage or breakdown Island Mobility will attend as soon as possible and either carry out repairs or if possible, provide another similar item to replace the equipment with. If our scooters or wheelchairs breakdown through a non user fault then island mobility will reimburse any travel/taxi costs associated with your breakdown if we are not able to attend at the scene immediately.
No cancellation fee for bookings cancelled more than 24 hours before the rental period.
Bookings not cancelled at least 24 hours before will be due the full amount.
Early rental returns have no cash value.
By booking our equipment you the customer are accepting these terms and conditions. Exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be Lanzarote, Spain. This contract is governed by Spanish Law.
